My old Rubbermaid mop bucket of the same model kicked the bucket after 10 years of use. The plastic is very old and may have become brittle from the elements. It might have lasted longer if I didn’t use it for washing the car or drying it in the sun, but for the last 10 years I’ve basically been using it for washing the car and wiping the floor instead of a bucket.
